There are several major museums in Korea. Most are located in Seoul but numerous regional and local museums are scattered throughout the country. Some of the most popular museums are the War Museum, The National Museum, The National Palace Museum, and there is even a Kimchi Museum in honor of Korea’s staple dish.

These museums often provide a full day’s activities and are cheap to enter. It is a great way to build up your knowledge of Korea and it’s people. It often serves as a great conversation topic with local residents, as the museums are often a source of pride for Koreans, especially if foreigners show a great deal of interest in them.
